April 2019 – CPC Diagnostics, a leading IVD manufacturer and distributor in India, and YHLO, a leading company for immunoassays in China, jointly held a product launch ceremony in Chennai to introduce YHLO’s iFlash CLIA System to the Indian market. CPC Diagnostics was appointed as YHLO’s exclusive partner to commercialize their iFlash CLIA System in India. Themed “Be Tomorrow Ready,” the event was attended by over 100 people including Dr. Amit Kakar, Everlife’s Head of BD and M&A. Other attendees included senior members from the YHLO team including Mr Richard Li (Sales Director) and Mr Edward Zheng (International Marketing Vice Director), CPC’s channel partners, Key Opinion Leaders and IVD experts from around India.
The immunoassay segment is the one of the biggest IVD segments in India, and expected to grow about 15%, partly driven by the introduction of newer systems such as CLIA. YHLO’s iFlash CLIA System includes the iFlash-1800, a 180 throughput/hour Chemiluminescence Immunoassay analyser which boasts best-in-class features such as Acridinium Ester labelling and continuous loading of sample, cuvettes and reagents. The product is highly complementary to CPC’s existing portfolio, and allows CPC to expand their speciality product business.
Through the iFlash CLIA System, CPC will also offer YHLO’s unique test panels for Reproductive Health such as for AMH and Inhibin B, and for Diabetes. “Our market represents enormous opportunity, but also faces some of the biggest needs and challenges.
