[Bangkok, March 2024]: Everlife Holdings Pte Ltd (“Everlife”), a leading market access and distribution company in India and South East Asia, has announced the completion of its acquisition of Hausen-Bernstein Co. Ltd. (“Hausen”), a leading provider of in-vitro diagnostic (“IVD”) products in Thailand. Founded in 2003, Hausen has built a strong customer base nationwide through its wide sales footprint and by providing superior technical and service support. Hausen played a critical role in fighting COVID-19 by becoming one of the leading suppliers of PCR and Antigen Rapid Tests (ART) in Thailand, enabling sufficient supply of high-quality and reliable diagnostic testing when the country needed it. Today, the company continues to provide a full range of IVD tests, with strengths especially in the Immuno, POCT and Molecular Diagnostics segments through partnerships with leading manufacturers such Euroimmun, Denka and Certest.
Everlife already operates in Thailand through its subsidiaries, Chemoscience (Thailand) Co. Ltd. and RI Technologies Co. Ltd. As Chemoscience and RI Technologies’ products predominantly target the analytical and life science industries, Hausen’s strengths in the IVD space allows Everlife to build scale in a new and highly dynamic segment in Thailand, while leveraging the support infrastructure of the existing subsidiaries.
